Continuing our theme of recipes for websites, today we’re exploring ingredients for tempting service pages.
(In cased you missed them, check out earlier letters: About Page Appetizer Trays and The Secret Recipe for Home Pages.)
Here’s a visual guide:
Although I’ve been making websites for almost 20 years, it’s rare to come across a service page that includes all of these ingredients. That’s completely okay! A website is an ever-evolving confection, and you can keep adjusting the ingredients as you go.
Some recent client launches:
- I loved creating a website for author/speaker/consultant Renee Zaugg with Barbara & Carolyn of Monaco Associates. This site’s design is unique in it’s depth and dashes of fun, just like Renee.
- Nexasure is a cybersecurity business that helps companies address their cyber risk. Their website came together very quickly due to founder Rick McElroy’s calm and encouraging leadership. It includes a clean and compelling design with textured gradients and gradient icons/illustrations.
- Psychologist Dr. Barbara Winter was an inspiration to work with— she loves her business and puts a lot of effort into promoting it. Her new logo and website reflect her super clear preferences and inspiration, with an elegant/warm vibe and clean linear illustrations.
- The Stream Tracker for Zone 7 Water Agency went live this past spring, but I’m sharing it at the start of California’s rainy season. It was awesome working with Tierra Plan on a resource portal for my very own Livermore water district. The tool integrates with several data sources and includes a map, list view, and dashboard for interacting with real-time rain and flood conditions.
Thanks for being here,
Sarah
